Austin City Council approved funding for support structures that could one day hold caps featuring parks, plazas, and pedestrian bridges over a redesigned I-35.
The project will expand the airport by 75,000 sqft, add plenty of new TSA lanes at Checkpoint 3, and allow for growing demand at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
The largest budget in Austin’s history will ask voters to decide on whether or not to approve a tax increase, which would raise homeowners’ bills by ~$303 annually.
