Broadway in Austin announces record-breaking 2026-2027 season

Texas Performing Arts is raising the curtain with 11 shows, including premieres like “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” and returning favorites like “Beetlejuice.”

Texas Performing Arts’ upcoming Broadway in Austin season is going to steal the show at the Bass Concert Hall. The 2026-2027 slate features 11 shows — an all-time high for Bass Concert Hall — with seven premieres and four returning shows.

  • “Mrs. Doubtfire” | Tuesday, Sept. 22-Sunday, Sept. 27
  • “A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical” | Tuesday, Nov. 3-Sunday, Nov. 8
  • “Buena Vista Social Club” | Tuesday, Dec. 1-Sunday, Dec. 6
  • “Alicia Keys’ Hell’s Kitchen” | Tuesday, Feb. 23-Wednesday, March 3, 2027
  • “Water for Elephants” | Tuesday, April 6-Sunday, April 11, 2027
  • “Death Becomes Her” | Tuesday, April 27-Sunday, May 2, 2027
  • “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” | Wednesday, May 19-Sunday, May 30, 2027

Returning:

  • “Waitress” | Wednesday, Oct. 21-Friday, Oct. 23
  • “The Phantom of the Opera” | Wednesday, Jan. 20-Sunday, Jan. 31, 2027
  • “Beetlejuice” | Friday, March 19-Sunday, March 21, 2027
