Austin City Council recently approved an electric vehicle charging ordinance that will allow installation of commercial EV charging stations in certain zones. The goal is to support the growing number of EVs in ATX, including ride-shares + growing city fleets.

We’ve been seeing more EVs on the roads lately and we’re wondering — where do EV owners power up their rides? According to the US Department of Energy’s Alternative Fuels Data Center, these are some public alternative fueling stations in Downtown Austin:
