Austin is home to Holocron Toy Store — a Star Wars-only retailer

The shop sells vintage Star Wars items and is full of memorabilia celebrating the films.

We figure this Jedi wants to get in on the action.

On May 4, you may hear “Star Wars” fans greet each other by saying “May the Fourth be with you.” The day has become known as “Star Wars” Day, but true to the films, there’s a sequel — Revenge of the Sixth, observed on May 6.

Fortunately, Austinites can celebrate the universally loved films year-round, and they won’t have to travel to a galaxy far, far away. The city is home to Holocron Toy Store, a “Star Wars"-only shop located near The Arboretum.

The Austin location opened in 2022 and is the company’s second store (it originated in Fort Worth). Inside, you’ll find vintage “Star Wars” merchandise, but there’s a dark side. The store resells many out-of-print products, so when they’re gone, they may never strike back.

Ready to visit? The store is located at 9828 Great Hills Trail, Ste. #330, and is open daily, 11 a.m.-8 p.m.
