Spurs Week returns to Austin for the third year

Games, prizes, block parties, and of course, basketball, await you at the San Antonio Spurs’ annual Austin takeover.

The third-annual Spurs Weekaka when the San Antonio Spurs throw a party in Austin to celebrate playing the I-35 Series — is this month and you’re invited.

The week-long itinerary spanning Sunday, Feb. 16-Friday, Feb. 21 includes block parties, free goodies, and activations. Let’s ball.

Sun, Feb 16: Spurs Fit Club at the Austin Marathon (7:00 AM) and an All-Star Watch Party at Bouldin Acres South (6:30 PM).
Feb 17-21: Free daily coffee at Jo’s Coffee & Mañana (while supplies last).
Tue, Feb 18: Huston-Tillotson x Spurs Block Party at Huston-Tillotson (3-8 PM).
Wed, Feb 19: Spurs Cup at Bouldin Acres North (5-10 PM).
Thu, Feb 20: Spurs Tailgate at Downright Austin (4-7 PM) and Spurs vs. Suns at Moody Center (8:30 PM).

Sunday, Feb. 16

  • Meet the Spurs Street Team at the Austin Marathon for giveaways, a DJ, and morale support for the Spurs Fit Club.
  • Head to Davis White Park for a renovated court unveiling with Austin Parks Foundation.
  • Watch the NBA All-Star Game from a free watch party at Bouldin Acres South, where fans can get free Spurs swag + churros.

Monday, Feb. 17

Grab a free coffee from Jo’s Coffee or Mañana locations from 7 to 11 a.m. every day (starting Monday, Feb. 17) through the end of Spurs Week.

Tuesday, Feb. 18

Enjoy a free block party with live music, a vendor market, and food trucks at Huston-Tillotson University.

Wednesday, Feb. 19

Compete in the Spurs Cup — consisting of yard games like cornhole, flip cup, limbo, and more — to win prizes like Spurs tickets and merch. Register your team.

Thursday, Feb. 20 + Friday, Feb. 21

Pregame the first game of the I-35 Series against the Phoenix Suns at Swim Club, where guests can enjoy drink specials, a cowboy hat customization station, and free pedicabs to get you to the big game on Thursday.

Get tickets to see the Spurs take on the Suns on Thursday, or the Detroit Pistons on Friday, and don’t miss activations from H-E-B, Coca-Cola, and Alienware while you’re at it.

By the way, all ticketholders for the Friday game will be granted access to a free Shakey Graves postgame concert.
