How to see a concert for free at Moody Amphitheater

One hundred lucky winners will be able to see each show at Moody Amphitheater for free due to a partnership with C3 Presents and Live Nation.

A lively outdoor concert at the Moody Amphitheater in Waterloo Park. The stage is set up with various lighting and sound equipment, and a large screen displays a close-up of Big Freedia singing. The crowd is gathered on the lawn and in the seating area, enjoying the event. The atmosphere appears festive with people standing, talking, and taking photos. The sun is setting, casting a warm glow over the scene at the Austin Blues Festival.

Moody Amphitheater will give away 100 tickets to each upcoming concert.

What’s better than seeing a concert? Seeing a concert for free.

Austinites can enter to win two free tickets to every concert at Moody Amphitheater thanks to a partnership between Waterloo Greenway Conservancy, C3 Presents, and Live Nation. For each show, 100 lawn tickets will be given away to make the arts accessible.

Here’s what to know:

  • Entrants must be 18+ and have a valid state ID to apply.
  • Entry forms are published on the site at least two weeks before the concerts.
  • Winners are selected at random and notified the week before the show.
  • Winners receive two non-transferable lawn tickets and can only win once per calendar year.

Upcoming concerts include St. Vincent, Lane 8, and Khruangbin. Later this year, Remi Wolf, Empire of the Sun, Peach Pit & Briston Maroney, and Teddy Swims bring their tours to town.
