National Voter Registration Day is tomorrow, Tuesday, Sept. 17. On this day, Americans are encouraged to make sure their paperwork is up to date to vote for the upcoming election.

To celebrate, here’s a quick guide to voter registration in ATX.

Check your voter registration status

If you recently moved to Austin or changed your name, you may need to update your voter registration status. If not, it’s still best to double check and make sure everything’s ready to go ahead of the general election in November.

Find your registration status on the Travis County Clerk Elections Division’s website and view a sample ballot. It only takes a few seconds to fill out.

Register, if you need to

Not registered? Don’t sweat it. You can:

Watch for these upcoming dates
