The best part about Halloween, in our humble opinion? The candy. 🍬

Make your spooky season even sweeter by picking up treats from local shops + makers. Between classic pecan pralines and fudge eyeball truffles, here are three places to shop for candy in ATX.

Big Top Candy Shop | 1706 S. Congress Ave.

Decorated with antique circus memorabilia, this South Austin store is an explosion of colors + sweet smells. Sip while you shop with a milkshake or old-fashioned, hand-jerked soda.

Yummi Joy | 409 W. 2nd St.

This downtown shop from the creators of Toy Joy sells homemade artisan fudge, novelty old-school candies, and ice cream.

Lammes Candies | Multiple locations

Lammes has been making treats in the Austin area since 1885. They’re known for their perfected pecan praline, but you can add a little spice by opting for a habanero version.
