The buzz before the snap
This is UT’s debut season in the Southeastern Conference (alongside rivals Oklahoma and Texas A&M), which topped CBS Sports’ 2024 College Football Power Rankings. Starting quarterback Quinn Ewers has appeared on lists calling him one of the top contenders for the Heisman Trophy, and practice scrimmages show he’s just getting started.
