B.D. Riley’s Irish Pub | 📍 1905 Aldrich St., #130

  • Grab a Guinness at this Mueller Irish bar, which is a hub for the New England Patriots and Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Liverpool FC matches.

Black Sheep Lodge | 📍 2108 S. Lamar Blvd.

  • This indoor/outdoor hangout — and sister restaurant to Haymaker — has daily drink specials, 120+ brews, TV screens all around, and a big crowd of fans to share it with.

Bouldin Acres | 📍 2027 S. Lamar Blvd.

  • You have many choices along South Lamar, but Bouldin Acres has nailed the equation for sports fans: Longhorn tailgates + drink specials + on-site barbecue food truck + pickleball courts for rent = a good time.

Haymaker | 📍 2310 Manor Rd.

  • Come for the array of pub food, daily specials (like $3 Native Texan pints during football season), a dog-friendly patio, and pool tables at this community hub for soccer, Longhorn, and Detroit Lions fans.

Lavaca Street Bar | 📍 Multiple locations

  • Stop by for game day beer buckets, rotating drink specials, and plenty of beer on tap. The South Lamar location serves food from Thunder Chief for its hub of Baltimore Ravens fans to enjoy.

Little Woodrow’s | 📍 Multiple locations

  • Little Woodrow’s — home base for UT and NFL fans, especially the Seattle Seahawks — offers beer bucket specials and extended weekend football hours at each Austin location. Heads up, heavyweights: If you sign up to drink all 50 beers and succeed, you could land a spot on the Big 50 Wall of Fame.

Posse East |📍 2900 Duval St.

  • Right near Darrell K Royal Memorial Stadium, this campus bar is ideal for tailgating, snacking on chili cheese tots or queso, drinks, and watching on outdoor screens.

Scholz Garten | 📍 1607 San Jacinto Blvd.

  • The oldest beer garden in the state, Scholz Garten has long been a destination for Longhorns fans. With a dog-friendly patio, rotating specials, and plenty of beers on tap, this spot is perfect for all sports fans.

Shoal Creek Saloon | 📍 909 N. Lamar Blvd.

  • Calling all Houston Astros and New Orleans Saints fans, Shoal Creek Saloon is your home base. The Cajun core of Austin is known for its crawfish deals and Abita beer specials.
