Switchyards, aka Austin’s newest neighborhood work club, opens on Monday, June 23 in Hyde Park.
Newsletter Editor Figi here — I got the inside scoop at Switchyards and toured the space yesterday. Here are some my favorite parts of the space.
The light, airy space is thoughtfully decorated and has a “heads down” section for quiet work, phone rooms + a meeting room available for booking, and a community-focused open room for work.
Decor inside the space features Easter eggs from the company’s locations all around the country. | Photos by ATXtoday
The café stocks complimentary drinks from Sightseer Coffee + Spokesman Coffee(both local brands), plus tea from Rishi Tea & Botanicals.
You can tour the space for yourself on Tuesday, June 17 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., or from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Reserve a spot.
Membership applications open at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at $100 per month. Only 250 memberships are available (and have been known to sell out within minutes), so don’t wait.

Did you know you can get your morning coffee at Taco Flats now? The local mini-chain has five locations in and around the Austin area. I ordered an iced strawberry rose latte to go with my migas taco (on corn, of course).
