Austin is a star-studded city with highly acclaimed eats, but what happens when those two worlds collide?

Skip the reservations and stock up at H-E-B, because these famous Austinites have recipes you’ll want to try at home.

Tuna salad | Matthew McConaughey

We’ve heard this “bada** tuna salad” is alright, alright, alright — though the ingredients may surprise you. You’ll need tuna, mayo, lemon, vinegar, wasabi, agave nectar, pickles, crispy jalapeños, apple, red onion, green peas, and corn to achieve this local A-lister‘s snack. Food for thought: does it pair well with his tequila?

Vanilla protein shake | Glen Powell

Austin’s it-boy jokes that he likes his protein shakes like his personality: vanilla. All you need to replicate the drink is Garden of Life organic plant-based protein powder, HUM Nutrition raw beauty powder, Ancient Nutrition multi-collagen protein powder, spinach, peanut butter, blueberries, bananas, and “a little bit of love.”

Check, check, one, two, three. Is this thing on? It’s City Editor Morgan on the mic, and I’m still giddy about going backstage at “Austin City Limits” over the weekend.

You can, too, by booking the new ACL Live Tour Experience.

Here are a few of our favorite sights:
    • Hall of Fame archives. Take a journey through time and see epic photography by Scott Newton, the show’s head photographer since the 1970s.
    • Willie’s Place. See a backstage patio where the red headed stranger has smoked with a cardboard cut-out of himself. Psst — you might see a musician on this balcony while walking Guadalupe Street.
    • The original Studio 6A stage. Hold guitars, stand on wood from the show’s original stage, and smile for a commemorative photo.
    • The catering lounge. See the spot where talent + crew members chow down and fuel up before the show.
