A spread of appetizers from Devil May Care. The table features falafel garnished with herbs, a creamy dip with pita bread, a serving of golden fries in a sleek metal container, and small bowls of vibrant toppings like pomegranate and sauces. The dishes are presented on stylish black and white plates, set against a warm, ambient backdrop with soft lighting and elegant decor.

There wasn’t a bad bite to be had at Devil May Care, but the whipped feta was a must-try.

The image shows an interior view of Gina's on Congress, a cozy and elegant dining space. A table is set with plates and glasses near a large window adorned with striped awnings, offering a glimpse of buildings and trees outside. A vintage chandelier hangs from the ceiling, casting warm light. The walls feature textured stonework and a large mural depicting a craftsman working with tools, adding a historic and artistic touch to the ambiance.

Hey chefs — City Editor Figi here.

After taking CocuSocial’s pasta-making class, I’m well on my way to becoming a chef. City Editor Morgan and I made our own pasta with puttanesca + gochujang sauces and it was delish.

    Here’s how it works:
    • Sign up for a class that interests you. CocuSocial also offers classes on making French macarons, dumplings, ravioli, pastries, and more.
    • Some classes can only accept bookings of two or more people, so bring a friend. Courses start at $59.
    • All the necessary materials will be provided. Except you, of course.
    • Your instructor will walk you through every step needed for the ~2-hour class.
    • You’ll eat what you make at the end and receive the recipe in your email.
If cooking isn’t your thing, try something else on our list of classes. Oh, and don’t forget to follow us on Instagram to see our experience.

    The Buy

A really good beanie. With 4,000+ five-star reviews, this warm winter beanie is a favorite for a reason: the inside is lined with satin, which absorbs less moisture and causes less friction than other materials, keeping hair nourished and frizz-free.
