“King of The Hill”'s signature Alamo Beer will launch in stores this month

The preferred brew of Arlen’s back alley hangouts will be available in H-E-B in late July, just before the series reboot drops on Hulu.

Two hands hold up matching Alamo-branded beer cans against a lively nighttime street scene in downtown Austin. A crowd of people fills the background, with colorful neon signs from venues like the Paramount Theatre and State Theatre glowing brightly under string lights.

From the lukewarm headwaters of the mighty Brazos River, the famous beer from “King of The Hill” will soon be sold in real life.

If your back alley hangouts have been missing a little Arlen flair, Alamo Beer — aptly brewed by San Antonio-based Alamo Beer Company — will launch on H-E-B shelves as early as Monday, July 28, ahead of the show’s reboot on Monday, Aug. 4.

The light American lager will appear in its signature red, blue, and tan can, with a 4.4% ABV. Before the official launch, Alamo Beer was widely believed to be based on Lone Star.

You can get excited for the launch by watching the show’s newest trailer.
