Sushi lovers, we’re about to maki your day.

Aburi Restaurants is bringing its first US concept to Austin. The new to-go sushi experience will serve up the same flame-seared and oshi-style pressed sushi that was awarded a Michelin star at Aburi Hana, the group’s restaurant in Canada.

Aburi Oshi Sushi opens on Friday, Sept. 20. The concept will operate out of Cloud Kitchen, with menu items available for pickup, delivery, and catering.

Here’s what we’re excited to try:

  • Aburi Salmon Oshi, the group’s most popular menu item
  • Aburi Yellowtail Oshi, which is inspired by Mexican flavors and exclusive to the Austin location

In addition to its signature sushi, Aburi Oshi Sushi will offer classic sushi rolls, hand rolls, and appetizers like edamame, Broccolini Gomaae, and miso soup.
