Luxury meets pickleball at Other Racquet Social Club

We got a sneak preview of the new spot on Manor Road, which is slated to open to the public next month.

Picture this: a country club vibe, but for pickleball.

Other Racquet Social Club, an upscale pickleball club that launched for members in September, will open to the public next month.

We got a sneak preview of the 30,000-sqft space — here’s what to expect.

Luxe courtside views

Other Racquet will have three tournament-regulation courts, each paired with a cabana containing ample seating and a television.

Each court is also provided with a four-person courtside viewing area that has umbrellas and a drinks cooler. As a nice added touch, we noticed the nets have koozies attached to them for a quick mid-match sip.

Pickleball turned party

Other Racquet owners preserved two historic homes on the expansive Manor Road site, turning them into a Member’s Clubhouse and bar.

The clubhouse will feature:

  • A cold plunge
  • Shower
  • Lockers
  • Drinks station
  • Lounge area
  • Private dining room for events

The bar area, much of which is still under construction, will offer drinks and a large patio area. Guests will also be able to:

  • Munch on bites from B. Cooper Barbecue and NADC Burger.
  • Listen to live music on a stage.
  • Refuel at the hydration station, which will feature draft beer.

Membership

Members to Other Racquet will be able to access the clubhouse, book courts 10 days in advance, and bring guests. Membership dues for 2024 are yet to be announced.

Non-members will still be able to use Other Racquet facilities, but will only be able to book a court 24 hours in advance at an hourly rate.

Slots are still open to become one of Other Racquet’s founding members, who gain access to all facilities, on-site discounts, swag, and first access to 2024 membership. Inquire here.
