It’s time to get on the ball, because Travis County announced its first Women and Gender Expansive Sports Week from Saturday, June 8 to Saturday, June 15.

The Travis County Commissioners Court issued a proclamation on Tuesday, June 4 to celebrate eight teams and their accomplishments, inspire future athletes, and make sports accessible to underrepresented communities.

Presented by ATX Women’s Sports Pub — a local sports club streaming only women’s sports opening this fall — the event will be commemorated with six games and a host of pop-up events.

Mark your calendar for these matches:

That’s not all — expect to see events celebrating LOVB Austin Volleyball and Austin Women’s Basketball as well.

Now the ball is in your court. Follow ATX Women’s Sports Pub on Instagram for more info on upcoming pop-ups, which are yet-to-be announced.
