Post of the Day

Post via @sxswsydney

SXSW Sydney is no more, as the organizers announced the festival will not return in 2026, citing a “changing global environment” and “prevailing market conditions.”

The festival drew 345,000+ attendees in 2025 and raised a cumulative economic impact of $276 million over its three years.

SXSW Sydney was the international festival’s first foray outside of Austin, followed by the launch of SXSW London (which is still scheduled to take place in 2026) last year. Scroll down to the News Notes section for an update on Austin’s festival.
