Comedy 🤝 cornetti
Tom Segura liked these pastries so much, he helped bring them to Austin. | Photo courtesy Fareground
Italian bakery Ciccio Bomba is now open at Fareground, and it has a surprising co-owner on board: comedian and podcaster Tom Segura.
At the helm is Italian chef Gianbattista “Gianba” Vinzoni, a restaurateur who wowed Segura with his signature croissants at his restaurant in California. Segura began sharing the pastries far and wide and collaborated with Vinzoni to bring them to the Capital City.
Famed menu items include cornetti (aka horned Italian croissants), focaccia, pizza al taglio, Italian sandwiches, brunch specialties, and coffee.
The bakery is open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. among fellow restaurants Taco Pegaso, JABS Burgers & Fries, Shawarma Point, and more at the food hall. Check out the menu.
