The holiday shopping season is upon us — have you finished your gift shopping? Consider this your reminder to start now and maybe do it locally. These 11 holiday markets featuring Austin makers and creators are a great place to start.

Blue Genie Art Bazaar | Friday, Nov. 14-Wednesday, Dec. 24

You can peruse hundreds of locally made goodies at this twice-annual holiday bazaar, which is open until the eleventh hour so you don’t have to scramble for last-minute gifts. Pro tip: you can also shop online.

Oh What Fun! Holiday Market | Thursday-Sunday, Nov. 20-Dec. 24

Local makers will switch out booths throughout the season, so there’s always something new to see. Plus, there are food vendors and a cocktail lounge on-site can help you fuel up for shopping.

Koko’s Alpine Lodge & Christmas Market | Tuesdays + Thursdays, Dec. 1-Jan. 3

Stop in for the pop-up markets — which run 5-8 p.m. — stay for screenings of Christmas movies and themed holiday cocktails. Psst — the Alpine Lodge is open each day.

Bee Cave Holiday Market | Fridays + Saturdays, Dec. 5-20

Buy the perfect gift from local vendors for your loved ones, take a spin at the ice skating rink, get your face painted, and take the kiddos to get photos with Santa at this market. Hours are 4 p.m.-9 p.m. on Fridays and 12 p.m.-7 p.m. on Saturdays.

German-Texan Heritage Society Christmas Market | Saturday, Dec. 6

Head to the 30th annual market from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. while sipping Glühwein, looking through Christmas decor imported from Erzgebirge in eastern Germany, and letting the kids loose on kid-friendly activities. Get tickets for $10.

Austin Holiday Market | Saturday, Dec. 6 + Sunday, Dec. 7

In addition to shopping from 130+ makers, tickets to this market also get you a free tote, free coffee to sip while shopping, and access to a DIY station. Tickets start at $8.

Holiday Reuse Art Market | Saturday, Dec. 6 + Sunday, Dec. 7

Austin Creative Reuse will host 50+ vendors and free activities for all ages — check out participating makers.

Beyond Art Market & Fair | Saturday, Dec. 6 + Sunday, Dec. 7

Black + disabled artists take center stage at this free market, featuring food, music, and art for all from 12 to 5 p.m.

Market at Zach | Saturday, Dec. 6, Saturday, Dec. 13 + Saturday, Dec. 20

Set in The People’s Plaza, this open-air, free market is a great place to spend time with the community and come home with a unique gift. Psst — vendors on Dec. 6 will be comprised of creations made by kids ages 5-17. RSVP here.

Hyde Park Holiday Market | Saturday, Dec. 13

Peruse vendors with art and vintage goods at this indoor market, complete with free beverages. Once you’re done shopping, wander the halls of the historic Baker School. Reserve your spot.

Armadillo Christmas Bazaar | Saturday, Dec. 13-Sunday, Dec. 21

Shop for an array of upscale gifts while listening to live music from Jackie Venson, Shinyribs, Carolyn Wonderland, THEBROSFRESH, Gina Chavez, and more. Tickets for the market — which runs 11 a.m.–9:30 p.m. daily — start at $12.
