Mexican ramen restaurant Ramen Del Barrio is finally getting its own space in north Austin.

The MICHELIN Bib Gourmand and James Beard semifinalist restaurant, which is currently located inside Hana World Market, will take over the Bullseye Bakery space sometime this year after the bakery closes in August. The new space is near Q2 Stadium along Kramer Lane.

The move to a brick-and-mortar has been on the horizon for Ramen Del Barrio, which announced its search for a new space back in January.

Newsletter editor Figi here. If you haven’t yet eaten at Ramen Del Barrio, consider this your sign. The mole tsukemen dipping noodles live in my mind and on our list of favorite dishes rent-free (plus it can be served vegan).

The Wrap

Today’s edition by: Figi

I got my mom and stepdad tickets to see Chris Isaak over the weekend for her birthday. She’s a big fan, so I was glad to hear that even after 40+ years of performing, he’s still putting on a great show. She was thrilled that he walked around to sing in the mezzanine, right behind where she sat.
