After 30+ years of serving Austinites at Deep Eddy Pool, Barton Springs Pool, and on 6th Street, Jim Jim’s Water Ice will close down in September. It’s a bittersweet ending, but owner Jim Moy said he’s shutting down the business so he can retire and spend more time with his family. (KXAN)

Mozart’s Coffee Roasters will host a fundraiser in support of local first responders after flooding devastated parts of the Hill Country.
Head to the lakeside coffee shop from 12-6 p.m. on Saturday, July 26 for donut boat rides, live music, face painting, balloon artists, barbecue, and sweet treats. All of the proceeds will support Texas Search and Rescue + the Texas State Troopers Disaster Response.
