Texas will no longer issue temporary paper license plates starting on Tuesday, July 1, due to the passage of House Bill 718. Drivers will now skip straight to metal plates in a move meant to cut down on counterfeit paper tags. (KVUE)

Get ready to be blown away — the Rome-based Balloon Museum will soon open its “Let’s Fly – Art Has No Limits” exhibition in the Capital City.
The museum will feature work from 19 international artists from Saturday, June 21 through Sunday, Nov. 2 at 2930 W. Anderson Lane (the former Louis Shanks location).
“Let’s Fly” will consist of 65,000 sqft of installations focusing on “flight, freedom, and lightness.” The exhibition has also popped up in Los Angeles, New York, Miami, and Atlanta.

“Mariposa” by Christopher Schardt | The butterfly sculpture made with 39,000+ LEDs was previously featured at Burning Man.
