Today is National Beer Day — and Austin’s brewery scene is lager than life. We’re not saying you need an excuse to sip a local beer today, but this one’s about as good as it gets.
Here are 20 breweries in town to add to your must-visit list.
The Austin Beer Garden Brewing Co.
Better known by locals as The ABGB, this brewery has it all: an expansive beer menu, cocktails, live music, and food like pizzas, sandwiches, and small plates.
Celis Brewery
Head to the taproom and beer garden for an IPA, seasonal brew, or specialty pint. Free-to-play trivia kicks off at 7 p.m. tonight.
Zilker Brewing Co. Mark your calendar — the local mainstay will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a three-day party from Thursday, April 10 through Saturday, April 12.
If you’re eager to give your friends or loved ones a fun, spring-themed gift, why not make them a seasonal basket of goodies? Here’s some inspiration to get you started:
🧺 Start with a sturdy woven basket that they can reuse as a versatile storage solution.
🍊 Add this refreshing room diffuser with notes of green tea, cotton, and orange peel.
🌱 Include “The Complete Gardener’s Guide” so they can learn everything they need to create their perfect garden.
🌷 Throw in this Amazon exclusive set of floral Happy Socks.
🍬 Complete the basket with the best-selling Owala FreeSip in the fun Candy Store colorway.
I spent the weekend in Dallas (hey, DALtoday) and made a pit stop at Czech Stop on the way into town. I’m here to report that the rumors are true — it’s a must-visit when traveling between the two cities. I also found it astonishing that three pastries and two drinks only put me out $11.
