Ready, set, action. South by Southwest Film and Television Festival released its 2025 lineup yesterday, which features works starring celebrities like Nicole Kidman, Seth Rogen, Paul Rudd, and Issa Rae. Badges are on sale now for the fest happening Friday, March 7-Saturday, March 15.

San Antonio-based Stout House plans to open a new location in the Capital City. The beer + cocktail bar would be located within The Linc in north Austin, offer 20 rotating craft beers, and feature a 700-square-foot patio pending a zoning change. (Community Impact)

Get ready to fill your plate — the fourth annual Field Guide Festival will return Friday, April 25-Sunday, April 27. It’s about dam time. Buc-ee’s will break ground on its new San Marcos location on Wednesday, Jan. 29. The 74,000-sqft gas station + travel center will have 128 fueling pumps and bring 200+ jobs to the area. (Austin Business Journal)
