For 30 years, the MLK Day of Service has grown as more people embrace the idea that citizenship involves taking an active role in improving the communities where we live, work, and play.
North Austin’s Half Price Books will close on Saturday, Feb. 2 after 18 years in business. A sign on the 2506 W. Parmer Lane store states the business was “unable to agree to terms on a new lease.” The bookshop’s six other locations in Central Texas will remain open. (KXAN)
