🎃 Pick your pumpkin

Fall is in the air, making it a perfect time for a trip to a local pumpkin patch. We suggest grabbing a fall-themed beverage at a local coffee shop and heading out to one of these eight local farms for some autumnal festivities.

Uhland Fall Fest, 39 Dairy Rd., Uhland | Saturday, Oct. 19-Sunday, Oct. 27
Immerse yourself in an autumn paradise with 15 acres of fall festivities, including a pumpkin patch, food, live music, and attractions.

Indian Springs Ranch, 403 Elm View Way, Manchaca | Now-Sunday, Oct. 27
Kids will love seeing exotic animals and playing on a giant “spider web” at this pumpkin patch, which also has face painting and vendors on the weekends.

Crowe’s Nest Farm, 10300 Taylor Lane, Manor | Every weekend in October
More than 250 animals call this farm home, and its fall festival features a pumpkin patch and owl, hawk, and snake shows.

Mama Mary’s Farm, 5701 Williamson Rd., Creedmoor | Now-Sunday, Nov. 3
Hay rides, apple cannon guns, a tractor tire playground, and a human hamster wheel are just a few of the activities offered at this fall fest.

Cheeseburger bouquets, edible shoes, and Moo Deng croissants are all on the menu... but none of it is real.

If you’ve scrolled Instagram and seen a post from @ethos_atx — which has 74,000 followers and counting — you might not immediately notice anything amiss. The account claims to be an award-winning restaurant in Austin and the “home of unreal flavors.”

But the deeper you dive into the account, the weirder it gets. Some of the signs that this fake restaurant is created using artificial intelligence include:

Why are they doing this? ATXtoday reached out to the team via a direct message and they sent back a GIF of Scrooge McDuck diving into money. Do with that what you will.
