This past Saturday, you may have heard “Star Wars” fans greet each other by saying “May the Fourth be with you.” May 4 has become known as “Star Wars” Day, but true to the films, there’s a sequel — Revenge of the Sixth, observed today, May 6.

Fortunately, Austinites can celebrate the universally loved films year-round, and they won’t have to travel to a galaxy far, far away. The city is home to Holocron Toy Store, a “Star Wars"-only shop located near The Arboretum.

The Austin location opened in 2022 and is the company’s second store (it originated in Fort Worth). Inside, you’ll find vintage “Star Wars” merchandise, but there’s a dark side. The store resells many out-of-print products, so when they’re gone, they may never return.

Ready to visit? The store is located at 9828 Great Hills Trail, Ste. #330, and is open daily, 11 a.m.-8 p.m.

    The Buy

Lume Acidified Body Wash, which is supposed to remove odor better than soap thanks to its key ingredient: mandelic acid. Choose from scents like clean tangerine or go unscented for sensitive skin types.

Recently, I watched “Anyone but You,” a rom-com starring Sydney Sweeney and Austin-born actor Glen Powell. It’s a fun movie, but when I was chatting with Figi she was surprised to learn that it’s loosely based on the Shakespearean comedy “Much Ado About Nothing.”
