Here’s the rental situation in Austin: the average rent for a one-bedroom apartment is $1,568 per month according to Rent.com, $1,490 per month according to Zumper, and $1,806 monthly according to RentCafe. We averaged those numbers to come up with a citywide average of $1,621.
To get the rent measurements for each neighborhood, we averaged the averages from those three websites, which used data from the last six months. Without further ado, let’s take a look into the (note: approximate) cost to rent a one-bedroom apartment in 13 of Austin’s neighborhoods
