The Austin metro area has dozens of school districts and ~300,000 students. We’re giving you the 411 on enrollment, student-teacher ratio, tuition, and morefor the area’s major school districts. But don’t worry, there won’t be any homework.

Development
Parmer Gateway, a 1,076-unit apartment complex, is headed to Northeast Austin near Samsung’s semiconductor factory. The first stages of the workforce housing development are expected to break ground in May. (Austin Business Journal)
Although the building housing Daniel Johnston’s beloved “Hi, How Are You” mural was demolished over the weekend, the mural itself has been preserved. See the image of Jeremiah the Innocent at 21st and Guadalupe streets. (KXAN)
Edu
UT Austin will receive $7 million in donations to create an endowment for staff, internships, and initiatives for its Landmarks public art program. The program is behind 50+ public works of art on the campus, including “Monochrome for Austin,” a 55-ft tall sculpture of boats. (Austin American-Statesman)
Civic
The free Zilker Shuttle service will return this Saturday, May 27 and run until September. Catch the bus to Zilker Park on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays at 505 Barton Springs Rd.
The City of Austin’s Office of Civil Rights will host a Fair Housing Conference next week. Stop by the Norris Conference Center on Wednesday, April 26 to learn from experts about fair housing history in ATX, creating communities of opportunity, and current legal standings.
Closing
The Sa-Tén Coffee and Eats on 4917 Airport Blvd. will permanently close on Saturday, May 27. The popular cafe, which was unable to renew its lease, will remain open in its other location at 916 Springdale. (Eater Austin)

The Moody Center may just be transformed into “Fields of Gold” this fall. Iconic rock artist Sting will perform on Sunday, September 17 alongside Joe Sumner. Get tickets starting this Friday, April 21 at 10 a.m.
