Oh my gourd, it’s already time for the spookiest weekend in Bat City. With Halloween falling on a Sunday this year, Austinites will be celebrating the holiday all weekend. We’re helping you plan ahead for the parties.

From a BBQ Halloween party taking place at a filming location from the Austin classic movie “Dazed and Confused” to a Spooky Silent Disco Party at The Belmont, here are 12 Halloween events happening around town that are sure to offer you a scary good time.

Friday

Halloween Party ‘Glow’ Rave Costume | Fri., Oct. 29 | 8 p.m.-5 a.m. | $55 | This Halloween party includes a costume contest, social icebreakers, and live music.

Trick or Drink: Austin Halloween Bar Crawl | Fri., Oct. 29-Mon.,Nov. 1 | 6 p.m.-2 a.m. | $15+ | Get spooky during this three-day event, which features drink specials from some of the best bars in town.

Beerburg’s Dog Costume Contest | Sat., Oct. 30 | 3-6 p.m. | Beerburg Brewing | $10 dog registration | In celebration of Pitbull Awareness Month, this Halloween dog costume contest will raise funds for rescue organization Love-a-Bull.

The 4th Annual Halloween Bar Crawl | Sat., Oct. 30 | 4-12 a.m. | Parlor & Yard | $15+ | Tap into the spooky season at the bar crawl — includes 2 complimentary drinks + an exclusive “crawl map.”

Austin Halloween Party | Sat., Oct. 30 | 9 p.m.-2 a.m. | The Venue ATX | $20+ | Get your coolest costume out for this huge spooktacular party.

Spooky Silent Disco Party | Sun., Oct. 31 | 9 p.m.-1 a.m. | The Belmont | $10+ | Put on headphones with your glow in the dark gear and get ready to dance it out to three DJs spinning tunes at the party.

Howl and Roll | Sun., Oct. 31 | 7 p.m. | Bartholomew’s Roller Derby Track | Roll into this Halloween costume skate party — candy and scares provided.

Halloween Trunk-or-Treat 2021 | Sun., Oct. 31 | 6-8 p.m. | Katherine Fleischer Park | Free | Car trunks + truck beds will be filled with candy and goodies for the community.
