It’s almost December, which means the countdown is on to finish that holiday shopping. 🎁

Consider this your reminder to start your shopping, and maybe do it locally. These four markets featuring Austin makers and creators are a great place to start.

Blue Genie Art Bazaar | Now-Saturday, Dec. 24 | 10 a.m.–10 p.m. | 6100 Airport Blvd. | Free | Peruse hundreds of locally made goodies during this annual holiday bazaar. Pro tip: you can also shop online.

German-Texan Heritage Society Christmas Market | Saturday, Dec. 3 | 10 a.m.-5 p.m. | German Free School, 507 E. 10th St., Austin | $5 | This market will serve up Glühwein and offer kid-friendly activities.

Holiday Mini Market | Sunday, Dec. 4 | 10 a.m.–4 p.m. | Distribution Hall, 1500 E. 4th St. | Free | Back for year No. 11, there will be 60 vendors, complimentary drinks, and a live DJ set at this market.

Armadillo Christmas Bazaar | Saturday, Dec. 17-Friday, Dec. 23 | 11 a.m.–8:30 p.m. | Palmer Events Center, 900 Barton Springs Rd. | $12+ | Shop for an array of upscale gifts to a live set from Ray Wylie Hubbard, Tomar and the FCs, and Ruthie Foster.
