Owners of the new Radius Butcher & Grocery, which will be designed by Michael Hsu Office of Architecture, said they plan to “extend (the) legacy” of Salt & Time.

When one business closes, another one opens here in ATX. A trio of new restaurants were announced this week, replacing closed or soon-to-close spots.

Radio Rosewood + Try Hard Coffee

Radio Coffee & Beer’s third location will open this summer in the former Try Hard Coffee space at 1115 E. 11th St. Radio Rosewood will serve the familiar coffee, cocktails, and food from Shortwave Diner, so don’t expect outside food trucks.

OKO + Ah Sing Den

After eight years, cocktail lounge Ah Sing Den will close down on Sunday, June 9 and become an Asian “food and drink emporium” called OKO. The new concept will serve a largely Texan-Filipino menu and open this fall.

Radius Butcher & Grocery + Salt & Time

Butcher shop + restaurant Salt & Time, 1912 E. 7th St., will close on Saturday, July 6, giving way to farm-to-market Radius Butcher & Grocery late this year. Radius plans to hire some of the same vendors and staff.
