Your short n’ sweet guide to espresso martinis around Austin

If you’re headed to see Sabrina Carpenter in concert at the Moody Center on Monday, Oct. 28, sip on that me espresso first.

An espresso martini is being held by a person in a dimly lit, stylish bar setting. The drink is presented in a sleek, coupe glass, with its frothy top adorned by three coffee beans, a traditional garnish for the cocktail.

‘Tis the season for espresso martinis.

Sabrina Carpenter will be working late (‘cause she’s a singer), so you might need a little espresso to keep up if you’re attending her Monday, Oct. 28 show at the Moody Center.

Please, please, please use this “Short n’ Sweet” roundup of six espresso martinis around the Live Music Capital of the World to celebrate.

No “Nonsense” classics

Codependent Coffee + Cocktails, 301 West Ave., Ste. 110 | Try this coffee concoction made with Dripping Springs Vodka, house espresso liqueur blend, fresh espresso, and Demerara — or opt for a shot of Medici Roasters espresso.

Lucky Duck, 1300 E. 6th St. | Austinites rave about Lucky Duck’s $12 espresso martini, which keeps it simple with Haku vodka, Kahlua, and espresso.

An elegant espresso martini served in a classic martini glass. The cocktail has a smooth, creamy layer of foam on top, dusted with a light sprinkle of coffee grounds or cocoa powder. The setting, with dark wood and a subtle patterned background, gives the drink a sophisticated and refined ambiance.

We think Sabrina Carpenter would approve of this ‘tini.

A cocktail garnished with a dried pineapple slice, served in a small glass. The drink is set against a backdrop of a cheese and charcuterie board, with various types of cheese, olives, and cured meats. The table setting includes a red checkered paper.
