The countdown is on for the ACL 2025 festival lineup to drop, and festival lovers everywhere are holding their breath.

The lineup is usually announced in early May — it dropped anywhere from May 7 to May 20 from 2021 to 2024, and as early as April 30 in 2019.

We want your help predicting who might perform at the festival for the second year in a row. Here are a few tips to guide your guesses:

  • ACL Fest is organized by C3 Presents, which also produces Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza, so we suggest peeking at other festival lineups.
  • Artists typically do not appear more than once every three years.
  • Artists who have announced shows in the fall in the Austin area are unlikely to be included.
  • If you want to get really serious about your guesses, check out Reddit’s speculation thread.

AI might be predicting the lineup

Some Redditors have caught Google’s AI assistant “giving away” or predicting the lineup when you search an artist + “ACL Festival 2025,” so we tried it for ourselves using performers on other 2025 lineups.

Note: It’s worth mentioning that Google AI’s results may change over time.

Here are the artists Google told us were scheduled or likely to perform:

  • Vampire Weekend
  • Doechii
  • Shaboozey
  • Sabrina Carpenter
  • Dom Dolla
  • Nelly
  • Jelly Roll
  • Mt. Joy
  • Weezer
  • Deftones
  • Cage the Elephant

Here are the artists Google said were not scheduled to perform:

  • DJO
  • Bleachers
  • Avril Lavigne
  • Ed Sheeran
  • Kesha
  • LISA
  • Marina
  • Doja Cat
  • My Chemical Romance
  • TV on the Radio
  • Father John Misty

Submit your guesses here and we’ll include some in an upcoming newsletter. In the meantime, you can check out how accurate your guesses were last year.
