Austinites will soon be able to step into the work of Vincent Van Gogh and Claude Monet at an upcoming state of the art exhibition.

Both “Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience” and “Beyond Monet: The Immersive Experience” will open at the former Austin American-Statesman campus, 305 S. Congress Ave., on Friday, May 31.

Here’s what you can can expect at this event where life imitates art.

Produced by Paquin Entertainment Group, the exhibit is divided between the two artists, which you can see separately or in the same visit. More than 300 paintings (including Van Gogh’s “Sunflowers” and Monet’s “Water Lilies”) will be projected onto the walls, allowing you to become part of the art, absorb their detail, and capture imaginative photos.

Tickets are on sale now, available through Wednesday, July 31, starting at $40 for one exhibition or $60 for both.
