Now in its 51st year, the Paramount Summer Classic Film Series returns on Thursday, May 22 at the 110-year-old movie palace with 100+ iconic films. As always, the lineup is packed with movie magic: blockbuster anniversaries, rare 35mm and 70mm screenings, and more.

“Casablanca” on opening night remains a beloved tradition. Director Robert Rodriguez returns as a guest curator to present multiple double features in person. Plus, you’ll find 10 Family Film Series screenings starting with “Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back” — family films include discounted tickets for kids 12 and under.

Look out for friends of the Paramount stopping by to co-present special nights of film, including Hyperreal Film Club, Austin Film Society, Austin Film Festival, Austin Asian American Film Festival, Texas Book Festival, and more.

Whether you’re a lifelong fan or first-time visitor, nothing beats watching a film with fellow cinephiles at the Paramount. Snag single tickets, discounted Flix-Tix packs, or become a Film Fan member for year-round perks below.
