“IIIII….don’t want a lot for Christmas…"

Okay, we get it. Kicking off the holiday season before Halloween is almost unheard of, but this staple of Austin’s holiday traditions has earned the right.

ZACH Theatre’s “A Christmas Carol” is back for its tenth year, with performances starting on Wednesday, Nov. 20 — and a decade of shows to commemorate. Read: There’s no shortage of holiday cheer.

So grab your favorite peppermint-flavored hot beverage and tell Mariah Carey to start defrosting because we’ve got all the details.

🎄 The ultimate holiday tradition

This reimagined version of the classic runs from Nov. 20 to Dec. 29, delighting audiences with fresh songs and festive enchantment from characters like Scrooge, the Cratchits, and three spirited ghosts.

🍿 Fezziwig’s Festive Feast

Feeling extra festive? Experience the performance from The Topfer’s Bartop section (house left and right, row K), and indulge in holiday treats (cookies, popcorn, hot chocolate, and Tiny Tina mocktails) throughout the show.

✨ Scrooge’s Suite Soiree

Grab up to eight friends or family members and watch the show from The Topfer’s Director’s Booth suite. Guests will enjoy the same holiday treats as the Festive Feast in a more private setting. Pro tip: Tickets for this experience are limited; email scroogessuite@zachtheatre.org to make a reservation.

🎟️ Pay what you will week

To ensure everyone can experience “A Christmas Carol,” ZACH Theatre offers 50 tickets, priced at your discretion, to each performance during the first week (Nov. 20-24). A limited number of tickets for each experience are available beginning at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, November 19. Performance times vary.

Whether you’re starting a new holiday tradition or continuing one with your loved ones, “A Christmas Carol” is a can’t-miss holiday experience. Reserve your seat to holiday magic.
