We’re dreaming of a furry Christmas with Austin Pets Alive!

We have 10 cats and dogs who are looking for homes to share. Many of these little fluff balls have had their adoption fees waived and are ready to spend the holidays with you.

Cats

Eraserhead, 15 years old | Free to adopt
This senior kitty is a young explorer at heart, despite his arthritis and feline leukemia, aka FeLV, and loves sitting up high to oversee his kingdom.

Melvan, 10 years old | Free to adopt
This affectionate kitty, complete with a notched ear, is a lap magnet and will sit down with anyone that comes his way. He is diabetic, but that doesn’t affect his warm demeanor.

Sweet Baby Cheeks has no use of her hind legs due to a prior injury, but she still loves to play and requires almost no extra care.

Daddy Daycare, 3 years old | Free to adopt
Another FeLV positive kitty, Daddy Daycare is cool, calm, and collected. He’ll gently play with a dancing string or come in for some love once he feels comfortable with you.

Dogs

Torgito, 9 years old | Free to adopt
APA! staff calls Torgito a “big teddy bear,” and it’s easy to see why with a face like his. This senior pup loves walks and attention, plus, he’s crate trained.
