We’re not fortune tellers, but we see some celebration in your future.

Austin is well known for its live music festivals, but the Capital City is also home to major events centered on comedy, reading, food, drinks, and more.

In fact, there are so many festivals in ATX that it can be hard to keep track of them all. That’s why we’re keeping details on every local festival taking place in 2025.

January

ATX_Stubb's_FreeWeek

Performers like Leila Sunier, Kiki Machine, and Vintage Pictures will perform at Stubb’s Bar-B-Q during Free Week.

More than a dozen venues will open their doors and put on performances from local stars, including Retro Cowgirl and The Tiarras.

Carnaval Brasileiro, Speakeasy | Saturday, Feb. 22 | $40+
The annual Mardi Gras celebration features live Brazilian bands, a body painter, and lots of dancing.

Spend a week immersed with some of the brightest minds, most talented musicians, and most cutting-edge brands at this expansive fest that brings tens of thousands of visitors to Austin.

Celebrate the 30th anniversary of this event, which began as a Bob Marley tribute in 1994 and has raised over $1 million for the Central Texas Food Bank.

Celebrate local farmers and the food they grow at this event featuring live talks, kid-friendly programming, artisan vendors, and, of course, lots of food.

Austin Psych Fest, The Far Out Lounge & Stage| Friday, April 25-Sunday, April 27 | Tickets TBA
Don’t miss the 17th edition of this outdoor music festival with live performances on two stages.

This event featuring hundreds of vendors is one of the nation’s largest and longest-running arts fests.

O. Henry Museum Pun-Off World Championships, Brush Square Courtyard | Saturday, May 10 | Free
Socialize with other punsters, compete in pun improv, plus take in live music + the Punniest of Show competition.

The 27th edition of this film festival highlights films and videos from Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula.

Thousands will gather to walk through east Austin during the historic parade, followed by a celebration in the park with food, kid-friendly activities, and live music.

Summer of Friendship Festival, The Contemporary Austin - Laguna Gloria | Thursday, June 26 | $10

The Mushroom Cowboy and The Concourse Project will host a wellness event in the morning, then the Austin Symphony Orchestra’s July 4th Concert and Fireworks will light up the night sky.

You Me She Fest, Rancho Moonrise, Manor | Saturday, Sept. 13 | $17+
The Lone Star State’s largest festival for women’s empowerment will feature workshops, wellness experiences, an artisan market, and live music.

Pecan Street Festival, Hill Country Galleria | Saturday, Sept. 13-Sunday, Sept. 14 | Cost of purchase
Spend the weekend shopping, eating + drinking, and listening to live music at this seasonal bash in a new location.

This music festival for electronic and dreamy tunes has been running for more than a decade in Austin.

October

Get ready to sing along with Sabrina Carpenter and Hozier. Austin’s signature music festival will return with two weekends of live music, good eats, and dancing.

Don’t miss the action-packed weekend, complete with racing and live music.

SEED Food & Wine Festival, multiple locations | Wednesday, Oct. 22-Sunday, Oct. 26 | $28+
This inaugural Austin fest may be centered around plant-based eats, but it’ll bring much more to the Capital City. Expect events like a taco competition at The Domain, a tasting village at Waterloo Park, a special documentary screening, and a 5K on South Congress Avenue.

Austin Film Festival, multiple locations | Thursday, Oct. 23-Thursday, Oct. 30 | $70+
Film buffs won’t want to skip this event for all things cinema, TV, screenwriting, and podcasting.
