Sixth and Guadalupe, 400 W. 6th St.

Did we say skyline changer? We meant skyline breaker. This 66-floor tower will be the tallest in the city, at 873 ft. This development technically won’t be completed until 2023, but as Austinites will be able to watch the giant slowly creeping up over the course of the next year, we thought it was worth a mention.

State of Texas Capitol Complex, Downtown Austin

Three buildings in this major, $895 million development will be completed in 2022 as part of the project’s first phase.

Apple campus, North Austin

This 133-acre, $1 billion Apple campus will finally open in 2022, exactly three decades after the tech giant first came to Austin. Featuring 2 million sqft of office space along West Parmer Lane and Dallas Drive, the property will also contain a 192-room hotel.
