What you need to know about Austin’s 3-1-1 service

Did you know Austin has a 24/7 information center? Austin 3-1-1 provides locals with access to City services + information.

If you dial 3-1-1 or (512) 974-2000, you’ll be connected to an ambassador for the city that will answer questions in regards to City of Austin departments + services. You can also use the 3-1-1 number to make reports.

What can you report?

  • Potholes
  • Graffiti
  • Loose dogs
  • Broken traffic lights
  • Trash and debris cleanup requests
  • Sidewalk repair
  • Power outages
  • Park grounds maintenance requests

If you rather go mobile, there’s also the Austin 3-1-1 app. This free app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store or iTunes Store.

  • COVID-19 updates for the City of Austin

Don’t want to call the information line or use the mobile app? No problem. There’s an option to complete a Service Request online + check the status of the request.
