A go-to breakfast spot for locals, Dos Gatos serves up Czech kolaches (aka fruit-filled) and Texas kolaches with meat and cheese.

Senza Maeso
A boutique tasting room that borders San Marcos and Wimberley, this bar serves its eponymous Senza Maeso hybrid spirit, which is made with South American cape gooseberry and steeped with herbs.
The Original Black’s Barbecue is taking over the Trudy’s Texas Star location on West 30th Street, effectively doubling the space of the nearly century-old barbecue spot’s current location. The owners expect that they won’t relocate for around two years. (Austin Business Journal)
Real Estate
$426,220. That’s the new median home price in the Austin-Round Rock-San Marcos metropolitan area, which is down by 3% year-over-year, according to the Austin Board of Realtors. Here in Travis County, the median home price is $499,000.
Civic
The Mexic-Arte Museum will move into the Austin History Center for up to four years while its current location is demolished and rebuilt. The museum will pay AHC $100 per year while they operate there — details on the move are yet to be determined. (Community Impact)
