200. That’s how many animals nine local animal shelters hope to adopt out to loving homes from Friday, March 6 to Sunday, March 8, during an initiative called Keep Austin Adopting.
To help achieve that goal, the participating shelters — including Austin Pets Alive!, Austin Animal Services, and Austin Humane Society — will implement a “Name Your Own Adoption Price” promotion to help you find your furever friend. View all participating shelters here.
If adopting a new family member isn’t on your 2026 bingo card, all nine shelters are accepting donations for Amplify Austin Day.
