These bugs are nothing to be scared of. | Photos by Marie-Andrée Lemire via Cirque du Soleil
Get ready to step inside the world of creepy crawlies, because Cirque du Soleil will bring its buggy, buzzy show “OVO” to the Moody Center from Thursday, Oct. 9 to Sunday, Oct. 12.
The show features 53 acrobats, musicians, and performers dressed as spiders, crickets, and beetles — plus, it will also make stops in Houston and San Antonio.
Figi here — my toxic trait is getting the urge to run away and become a Cirque du Soleil performer every time I see a show. That’s how good they are.

In the land where everything is bigger, sometimes a small sight is one to behold. Earlier this month, I drove through Giddings on my way to Houston, where I passed the smallest Buc-ee’s that I’ve ever seen — it looked like a typical gas station. Turns out, there are lots of other Buc-ee’s locations that are smaller, but that doesn’t mean they’re not cool to see.
