Speaking of helping the Hill Country, The Texas Ranchers — Austin’s professional pickleball team — want Austinites to play for the cause. Local players City Di Laura and Wyatt Stone will join in on games at Austin Pickle Ranch on Tuesday, July 15. The $10 admission fees will go toward the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund.

In addition to donating $100,000 to organizations helping with flood relief, Whataburger announced that it will donate 100% of the profits from its first-ever commemorative cup collection, which is available in 17 states, through the rest of July.

Local grocery store chain Wheatsville Food Co-op will purchase two Fresh Plus (another local grocery chain) locations in Hyde Park and Allandale. Fresh Plus’s two remaining locations will stay open and the acquisition will support Wheatsville’s new hub-and-spoke model. (Austin Business Journal)
