It’s not a blip — this is a rare sight in Austin. | Photo by ATXtoday
Keep your eyes to the sky — the iconic blimp is in town now through Saturday, March 15 for SXSW 2025.
Only four Goodyear Blimps still exist, and the semi-rigid airships are celebrating their 100th birthday this year by journeying around the globe. After the blimp’s visit in Austin, expect sightings in California for Coachella, Las Vegas for Wrestlemania 41, New Orleans for New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, and many more destinations.
If you see the blimp, send us a photo and we may include it in an upcoming newsletter. Happy blimp hunting.
