☘️ Shamrock and roll

A lively outdoor performance shows a band dressed in traditional Scottish attire playing bagpipes and drums on stage. The musicians wear matching red tartan kilts and dark green shirts, and they perform in front of a large Irish flag backdrop. The stage is framed by lighting rigs, with various colored lights illuminating the performers. In the foreground, a crowd of people dressed in green watches the performance, some wearing festive accessories. The setting appears to be a street or shopping area with brick buildings and storefronts visible in the background.

Feel Good

🌬️ We’re blown away

A Goodyear blimp is seen flying in a clear blue sky. The blimp is blue and gray with the word "GOODYEAR" prominently displayed in yellow letters along its side. The tail section features the registration number "N3A" in black on a yellow background. The gondola, located beneath the blimp, is painted white and blue.
It’s not a blip — this is a rare sight in Austin. | Photo by ATXtoday
Is it a bird, is it a plane? It’s the Goodyear Blimp, and it’s currently flying over Austin for the first time in over a decade.

Keep your eyes to the sky — the iconic blimp is in town now through Saturday, March 15 for SXSW 2025.

Only four Goodyear Blimps still exist, and the semi-rigid airships are celebrating their 100th birthday this year by journeying around the globe. After the blimp’s visit in Austin, expect sightings in California for Coachella, Las Vegas for Wrestlemania 41, New Orleans for New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, and many more destinations.

If you see the blimp, send us a photo and we may include it in an upcoming newsletter. Happy blimp hunting.
