Three cocktails are in the background: a pale yellow drink in a wine glass with a sprig of thyme, a dark espresso martini in a coupe glass, and a pink beverage in a tall glass with a black straw. City Editor Figi poses with an adorable goat.

    From the editor
I spent the weekend doing yard work and roaming the gardens of Shoal Creek Nursery. I asked one particularly helpful employee if seeds ever expire, and he told me something very interesting: not only do seeds not expire (provided they’re kept dry), but scientists have sprouted seeds that are thousands of years old.

    Shoutout to our local gardeners.
