A portion of the proceeds from each meal and cocktail benefit the Central Texas Food Bank, so you can have your meal and give back, too. Here are a few we recommend.

City Editor Figi here. 👋 Last week I told you that I start my day with a cup of Earl Grey tea, so I asked where you get your teas. Here’s what you said:
Reader Robyn Y. recommends Texas Coffee Traders at 1400 E. 4th St. Robyn says, “They have some delicious loose-leaf blends. My favorite is Caribbean Afternoon.”
Reader Jason L. says ChiCha San Chen, at 6501 Airport Blvd., “took the crown” for best tea, but Cherrywood Coffeehouse, 1400 E. 38th 1/2 St., also uses loose leaf.
Reader Jennifer E. — who also starts her day with Earl Grey — says you need to go across the pond:
“I was in London for the coronation and stayed around the corner from the original 300+ years old Twinings shop (where Earl Grey was invented) and I stocked up big time.”
I also asked what local podcast recommendations you had — reader Shawn recommends “I Could Never Do That!” by Carrie Barrett, his wife.
The podcast focuses on ordinary people — including athletes, artists, and entrepreneurs — doing extraordinary things despite their own limitations. I’ve got it playing this morning.
