Las Bis | 721 Congress Ave.
The newly opened rooftop next to the Paramount Theatre is exposed on three sides, making for 270º of beautiful skyline views. Try this: “Sir Eel,” featuring sherry, bourbon, amaro, star anise bitters, fennel liqueur and Peychaud’s.
Nido | 1211 W. Riverside Dr.
Take in the skyline from across the lake at this outdoor-indoor space atop the Loren at Lady Bird Lake. Try this: “For Ada” featuring gin, pierre ferrand orange, lemon, lime, cucumber, and bitters.

The City of Austin announced plans to convert Marshalling Yard into a 300-bed shelter space for people experiencing homelessness. The city will also transition from single to double occupancy at its Northbridge and Southbridge shelters, making room for 130 more people. (KVUE)

The new Dell Jewish Community Center opened at 7300 Hart Ln. yesterday, marking one of the first additions to Shalom Austin in two decades. The 38,000-sqft building will be followed by a new Jewish Family Service space and meditation garden next year. (Austin American-Statesman)
Weather
El Niño — a weather phenomenon that brings cooler, wetter weather to Texas — is expected to begin by July, according to climate prediction analyses. The impact may be “significant,” as early signs point to a stronger El Niño effect. (KXAN)
